The Old Manor house, built around 1680 has seen many changes in the last 300 years, resulting in a characterful, intriguing building with a few odd steps, low doorways and low headroom in some rooms. An open fire in the breakfast room adds warmth and comfort in the winter months. Each bedroom is individually styled to suit the charms of the room, offering a mix of traditional & contemporary furnishings.
The Old Manor is in the heart of North Somercotes on Keeling Street (A1031) with local shops, pubs and restaurants within an easy walk. We are next door to McColls convenience shop and have parking for 2 or 3 cars on site with additional parking available at our next door property. Public transport to the village is limited, although intrepid guests have arrived from both London and Leicester using public transport and we will be happy to assist with collection and drop-off at local bus, coach & train stations.

Accommodation
We currently have two ensuite B&B bedrooms, each is centrally heated and equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, small chillers for fresh milk and a bottle of filtered water. There are spare pillows and an additional throw should the night get a little chilly. We provide a hairdryer in each room and toiletries from Faith in Nature, which are environmentally friendly, cruelty free and suitable for vegans. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house for guest use.
The Nook
The Nook is an elegant first floor room over-looking The Old Manor’s attractive garden. This stunning room full of sunlight offers a king size bed with a seating area comprising of a small chaise longue and dressing table. The generous ensuite has a corner bath with shower over.
The Garden Room
The Garden Room is a delightful ground floor room overlooking its own private garden with picnic bench, patio and small lawn. The king size bed has a wonderful view of the garden, providing a sense of privacy and retreat. A generous shower and separate toilet complete this wonderful room.
